Selection bar
Select a few words of a paragraph (drag, or Shift + arrows) and a small toolbar rises over the first line. Rewrite and Shorter propose edits as struck-out words with the new word beside them, Accept applies them, Note pins a comment to the range with a rule and a marker in the margin, Copy copies the words.
